“ This is a Mediterranean restaurant close to the train station. Interior is elegant with a nice ambience. There are limited but enough options for vegetarians. The dips were fresh and the beet feta salad was filling. Service was fine. Overall, it was a good dining experience. ”
“ I booked a table here for my birthday, and it was worth every moment. I came across Zou Zou's knowing it was part of the Quality Brands restaurant Group and the reviews online sold me to choose it for my special day. The restaurant is beautifully designed. Although it wasn't packed with a trendy crowd (my pref), I thought the ambiance was comforting and somewhat elegant. Let's jump right to it. Since I had a large party, 10+, I opted to do the Chefs tasting menu ($74). The Food was extraordinary. The dips tower with crudite and Bazlama bread was a beautiful centerpiece that lasted 3 minutes before it was gone. The bread was different and resembled those old school Italian garlic knots texture. The appetizers that came next were excellent starting from the Himachi to the Crispy Manti and Fattoush Salad. I was concerned that we were wouldn't have enough food but the server assured me we shouldn't worry and need not order more. Glad I listened because as the food kept coming I glanced at the table and everyone was stuffed. Must haves when ordering. Manti, Himachi, Bronzino, Duck Burek, BROCCOLI and Wadi Rum Jeweled Rice (out of this world), and Cheesecake. They also gave us a plate of Charred pineapple, which was thinly sliced and beautifully decorated on a plate. I think they put a rum glaze over and the char was incredible! The only Cocktail that popped, and yes we ordered all of them, was the Golden Negroni. The staff and Matre'd truly made my table feel special and gave us an unforgettable experience. I will absolutely be back! ”
“ If you go thru the back entrance it is thru the Manhattan West building. It is a beautiful building. The restaurant itself is stunning. This is in the Quality Branded restaurant, so think Quality Italian, Bad Roman, Don Ainge. Thus nothing is minimalist, its a bit whimsical. This place is very good for groups (tons of booths) but also bar section looked very fun too. The staff took great care of us. You have to do the dip platter! They were all very taste, shout out to Whipped Ricotta. They were not stingy with pita - they got us more in a heartbeat. The mains and sides were phenomenal. Steak kebab was beyond extra - it comes out on a sword. The latakes and brussels were a good mix of sweet and savory. I loved it all. Cocktails were creative and top to bottom they hit. Favorite was the Golden Negroni. My biggest issue is the identity. I thought it was Bad Roman. For a mediterranean restaurant I wish it had more culture in the space. ”
“ After work in New York, we decided to grab drinks and ended up at Zuzu's, a spacious Mediterranean-style restaurant. Whether you're with coworkers or hosting a private event, this spot seems well-equipped to accommodate both. It was packed--I imagine it's always like that--but despite the crowd, our servers were attentive, and both the kitchen and bar kept things moving efficiently. We didn't have reservations, but they managed to seat us for about an hour, which worked perfectly since we initially just planned for drinks. However, we couldn't resist indulging in some appetizers. Overall, a great spot! Next time, I'll make a reservation so I can fully explore the menu. ”
“ After taking a live in person class at peloton, we stepped outside and or was trying to find a place to get it paid to eat and a drink. This place is right across from the peloton Studio and we arrived around 7 PM and the place was slammed on a Thursday. We couldn't even stand at the bar because there were so many people. We tried to put our name down for a table and they said it was going to take 30 minutes, however we were able to get seated in less than 10. We sat at the bar service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and went over the menu with us glasses of wine were very expensive $20 each, but that is the city for you. We split the dips which it looked like most people were eating and they were all so good and unique. We also then got one of the salads and the dumplings both great so happy we stumbled across this restaurant we really enjoyed it. ”
“ Unreal. Seriously a fabulous meal!! We just had a culinary delight! The dips tower for the appetizer was absolutely unreal. So many amazing flavors exploring in your mouth. We just tried a few of the other apps and they were fantastic!!! We will be coming back here very soon to try more items on the menu!! So good! ”
“ Brandon and Tiffany were the best bartenders I could ever ask for! They made our stay so enjoyable and made the best cocktails for us! ”
“ I've had the privilege to dine in Zou Zou's right before Christmas. The place was hidden in the Manhattan West Area and the ambiance was pretty. My friend started off with red wine and I had the Road to Jericho cocktail (Grey goose, pomegranate, fig and orange blossom). The beautifully presented cocktail was unfortunately on the small side with lots of ice. Not worth for the price of this drink. We ordered the Chef's Menu which was $74 per person. Portions were huge because it was for the two of us, but it was designed for four people. We ate half and split the other half to go for lunch the next day. We ordered the Chef's Menu which was $74 per person. Portions were huge because it was for the two of us, but it was designed for four people. We are half and split the other half to go for lunch the next day. The menu consisted of their famous 5 dip tower containing of the following: chickpea with black garlic oil, ember roasted eggplant with spiced peppers, whipped ricotta and saffron apricots, green tahini and smoked carrots with hazelnut and pomegranate. We had a choice of three appetizers and we each picked the hamachi (I ate it all because my friend does not eat raw), fattoush salad and hot kasseri cheese. All tasted amazing and portions were family style. For the main entrees we got the grilled branzino and Yemeni Au Poivre Kebab. Both tasted amazing. We both liked the Kebab more. To end the night we had the Kataifi Cheesecake which was beautifully presented. We were so full that we only had a bite or two but it tasted very good. I took this home and it took a few days to finish this dessert. This is a great place to dine with 8 people and take advantage of the chefs menu. Service was amazing. ”
“ Chefs menu dinner for $74 is a steal for the area, there is so much food!! The dips and mezze have plenty of vegetarian options but unfortunately no main vegetarian options. It would be great if Zou Zou could add something there in the future. My meat eating friends enjoyed the duck and filet mignon and I enjoyed the branzino which was perfectly cooked. From the mezze, my favorite was the fattoush which was so colorful and flavorful, I kept going back for more. The hamachi is also excellent. The dessert cheesecake is something different and so good. Overall great experience. Given the amount of food we all wished we had more time between courses...definitely felt rushed like the table needed to be turned over quickly. It would have been nice to have more time to truly enjoy the food/experience. ”
